Temple's Sugar Bush (known as Temple's Country Weddings now) is like a second home for us during the wedding season. We capture about a third of our weddings each year at Temple's, and even though we are there so often, we never grow tired of it (or of their scrumptious food!!). Moira and her amazing team will not only take care of yo, but they truly make you feel like family! From the newly upgraded Bridal Loft and Groom's Cabin, to that cozy fireplace, the interiors are a great option for all of your wedding day events. But of course, it is those beautiful grounds that really draw people to this wonderful venue! And whether your wedding is accompanied by a lush green forest, or one covered in crisp, Fall leaves, it is the perfect background for some gorgeous portraits!!

Le Belvedere
The view looking out from Ottawa's only cliffside wedding venue really is breathtaking! So much so, that it is no wonder Le Belvedere has been voted one of Canada's Loveliest wedding venues by Wedding Bells Magazine. But more important than any accolades, or pretty views, are the people. Jessica + her team work so hard for each and every one of their couples and it is such a joy to work alongside them. Every time we get to spend a wedding day at Le Belvedere we are overjoyed because we know it is going to be seamlessly wonderful! From a choice of prep areas both on site at the Guest house, and at the Wakefield Grand just a short drive (or shuttle) from the venue, to the endless options for photos (including the Wakefield Bridge if you are up for a teensy drive into town), Le Belvedere offers you nothing but picture perfect settings for your wedding day.

Stonefields was on my wish list from the moment we first laid eyes on it during a networking + open house evening they hosted. Stephanie + Steve have upgraded and enhanced the site immensely since they first opened the venue, and every single one of those changes has been done with such great care and attention to detail. From the picture perfect prep areas to get ready in, to choosing the perfect ceremony site for your nuptuals, to customizing the stunning loft, and of course taking advantage of those lush grounds for all your wedding day portraits, the options are seemingly endless and sure to result in your dream wedding day!

Jabulani Vineyard
Who doesn't want to get married in a vineyard?! Jabulani sometimes seems like a hidden gem of a wedding venue in the area. It has just the right about of rustic charm and country atmosphere just a tiny drive out of the city. And to make your wedding day truly your own, there are so many ways to celebrate your day at Jabulani including at least 3 different ceremony locations (I am personally drawn to the orchard area myself). Tom + Janet are so sweet and take such great care of each and every one of their couples, so you will definitely feel at home here!

Strathmere
You really can't go wrong at Strathmere! Whether you are celebrating your day at the Farmhouse (previously called the Inn), Lodge, or Garden House you are in for a beautiful day from start to finish! I personally love venues where you can do everything from start to finish. Doing your prep, ceremony, portraits, and reception all on the same site really reduces stress levels during the day (it also means you get more time with us because there's no driving between locations!). We've work at Strathmere countless times now and we have loved every single one of those wedding days, not only because we have loved our couples, but also because we of the amazing teams here! Side note: if you have the option to get the carrot cake with cream cheese icing, you won't be disappointed!!

Orchard View
Orchard View was relatively new to us until just a few years ago, but the second I toured the property in preparation for our first wedding there I was in love! The different ceremony sites really do cater to a variety of couples while still ensuring everyone can have that serene wedding day in a gorgeous natural setting. Of course the pond and grounds drew me in, but when I saw my first sunset there I was done. I mean, the glow, the reflection off the water, the perfectly placed little gazebo and bridge --- utter perfection! Add to that the fact that Orchard View has some of the nicest staff you will ever meet and you are definitely going to be well taken care of!
